DETROIT - The Mott Community College men's basketball team rallied late, but fell short in a MCCAA matchup at Wayne County Community College on Wednesday in Detroit.
The Bears trailed by double-digits for most of the contest, but late 3-pointers brought Mott back. WCCCD held on and took the contest 76-69. The loss drops Mott to 13-5 overall and 2-2 in the MCCAA
Mott Highlights:

After a slow start, Justin Mims heated up and finished with 17 points, including three 3-pointers. He added 10 rebounds for a double-double.

Kevin Tiggs Jr. added 16 points on 8-of-14 shooting.

Kimari Barden recorded 13 points and three steals.

Teon Armstrong had a team-high seven assists to go along with 12 points and five rebounds.

The Bears shot 27-of-67 from the field, 6-of-22 from deep, and 8-of-12 from the line.
