Roadrunner 2024-25 Women's Basketball Season Kicks Off vs. Delaware Tech with High Hopes

Roadrunner 2024-25 Women's Basketball Season Kicks Off vs. Delaware Tech with High Hopes

The Roadrunner Women's Basketball team opens their 2024-25 season this afternoon at Delaware Tech, and veteran Coach Rich Cooper once again looks for his team to be top contenders for conference and regional championships.

And why not? The Runners are emerging from a 21-4 season a year ago in which they captured the Garden State Athletic Conference and NJCAA Region 19 titles -- and Cooper again has recruited a talented recruiting class ready to repeat that success.

"We're very happy with the players we have in our program this season," commented Cooper. "This is a talented group who is showing a lot of dedication so far and a group with some high expectations once w get to know each other on the court."

Today's season opener will put the Runners vs. DII Delaware Tech in a 5 pm tip-off. Cooper's team will play Camden County College in their home opener on November 7th, and will conclude the month of November with four straight road games.
