Goodman —- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs fell in their season opener here Friday, 72-68, against the Arkansas State University-Newport Aviators.
Four Bulldogs —- Trey Smith, Trey Alexander, Christian Parks and K.J. Sykes —- scored in double figures but the Bulldogs couldn't pull out the win.
Smith led with 20 points while Parks and Sykes each had 15 and Alexander had 12. Smith had eight rebounds while Parks had six.
Holmes plays Delgado on Monday at 7:30 p.m.
