Despite a three-run fifth inning from USC Sumter, the Stingers responded with a four-run outburst in the sixth inning, sealing the game. Camryn Jordan and Hayleigh Atkinson both contributed significantly to the team's success, each securing two hits and driving in multiple runs. Jordan's performance included a double and a key single in the sixth inning that drove in two runs, while Atkinson's contributions included a double and a scored run. Larissa Siders also made an impact with a triple, contributing to the scoring in the sixth.
Zoei Hunt delivered a strong performance on the mound, pitching seven innings and allowing only six hits while striking out two batters.
