Roadrunner Baseball opened the 2025 regular season by sweeping host Chesapeake College (MD), 3-2, in Game 1 and 12-2 in Game 2.

Coming off a triumphant 2024 campaign in which the Runners captured their second straight NJCAA Division III national championship, the Runners picked up right where they left off. They emerged victorious in a tight Game 1 battle against their Maryland opponent, and then saw their bats come alive in their Game 2 rout of the Skipjacks.
