Beverly Leads Erie Past Lakeland Community College

Eddie Beverly was force on the court for Erie as they defeated Lakeland Community College 99-82 on Tuesday at the Burt Flickinger Center.

The sophomore guard ran the offense with authority as he put up 27 points and had five rebounds and three assists.  Olivier Ngarukiyintwari was just as impressive with his double double, scoring 20 points along with snagging 14 rebounds.

Off the bench, Jabar Wheatley had 11 points while Nathaniel Parker added eight points, five rebounds and 11 assists. 

This was the surging Kats fifth win a row and moves them to 7-5 on the season as they head into the last weekend of play for the semester.

They will host Bryant and Stratton (OH) on Saturday with a 1:00 pm tip off and then Westchester Community College visits the Flickinger Center on Sunday at noon.
