
OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Freshman guard Kara Stricklin twice converted a four-point play, along with a traditional 3-point play on her way to a season high 25 points to lead the Cavaliers to the 104-30 victory.
Stricklin drained six 3-point baskets and was 8-of-13 overall to post her fourth straight game in double digits scoring and second 20+ point effort in four games. She also had two assists, two steals and two rebounds.
Freshman guard Layla Scott increased her league-leading total for 3-point baskets made with 81 by knocking down four long range shots on her way to a 20-point afternoon.
Freshman guard Heaven Smith posted a solid line with 15 points, seven rebounds, six assists and three steals and sophomore guard Taliyah Scott and freshman guard Jamya McPherson each tallied 12 points.
The Cavaliers tied their season high for made 3-point baskets with 16. JCCC also forced 24 turnovers while only turning the ball over a season low four times. Johnson County now stands 66-0 against the Larks, and the 74-point victory is the third largest in the series history with Hesston.

No. 2-ranked Johnson County (23-0, 7-0) will travel to Chanute on Wednesday, February 5 to take on the No. 23-ranked Neosho County Panthers (15-5, 5-2). JCCC defeated Neosho County 99-66 back on January 11 to open the conference season.
