Columbia, MD- In a tightly contested matchup, the Cardinals women's basketball team secured a hard-fought 48-46 victory over the Howard Community College Dragons. Led by a balanced offensive attack and dominant rebounding, the Cardinals battled through shooting struggles to claim the win- their sixth straight.
Clutch Performances Lift Cardinals
Serafina Stubbs was the leading scorer for CCBC Catonsville, dropping 18 points while also grabbing 10 rebounds. Stubbs was a force at the free-throw line, converting 8-of-9 attempts. Jocelyn Fogle also made a major impact, tallying 17 points and an impressive 19 rebounds to control the paint.
Jayda Mayles contributed 7 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists, helping the Cardinals maintain offensive flow. Emily Bartlett and Unique Santiago added key defensive efforts, combining for 5 rebounds. Maleyah Bell provided valuable minutes off the bench despite struggling from the field, finishing with 2 rebounds and 3 assists.
