The Lakers win at home of the Marshalltown Tigers 49-43. The Lakers were led by Gracelyn Deputy with 16 points and Morgan Bednarek added 13 points.
Marshalltown was led by Shenell Stewart with 23 points.
"Huge team for the Lakers tonight. Really proud of our girls; they showed such toughness and resilience. I thought our team guarded really well tonight. They were locked in on the defensive end and rebounded well," commented Head Coach Ashley Martin.
The Lakers are 11-14 on the season and 5-8 in conference play. The Lakers next home game is Saturday, February 8th vs Southwestern CC at 1:00pm for our Jam the Gym Day as well as Laker Hall of Fame Induction.
