
The Kansas City Kansas Community College men's basketball team took down the Hesston College Larks, 94-57 Feb.24 at MCC-Penn Valley in Kansas City, Mo. After the win, it now puts the men's basketball team with an overall record of 21-8. After the win, the Blue Devils' record is 21-8, making it back-to-back 20+ win seasons for Head Coach Brandon Burgette and his team.
Manuel Martine led the way with 17 points while bringing down five rebounds, three assists and three steals. Both Pierce Ross and BJ Stewart scored 12 points each and combined for an impressive 11-19 from the floor. Camron Williford and Andrew Tiemeyer both had four assists and combined for 11 points. Ferdinand Agama finished the night with eight points in his nine minutes of play while coming off the bench.
For the game, the Blue Devils shot 38-72 from the field (52.8%), 11-28 from three-point range (39.3%) and 7-11 from the free-throw line (63.6%). The Larks shot 22-73 from the field (30.1%), 9-33 from three-point range (27.3%) and 4-7 from the free-throw line (57.1%).
