The FMCC women's basketball team got tripped up by Hudson Valley and Jefferson this week. The Lady Raiders hosted Hudson Valley on Wednesday and suffered a 62-32 loss. Mekia Comrie led FM with 7 points.
On Sunday, FM hosted #10 nationally ranked Jefferson. They played a strong first quarter and hung right with the Cannoneers, 16-12. Jefferson pushed ahead in the 2nd quarter and led 38-18 at the half.
The Lady Raiders outscored Jefferson in the third quarter, 18-15 but it wasn't enough to cut the deficit. Angelina Deitz led with 14 points to lead the home squad.
FM looks to get back on the right track when they host Herkimer College on Wednesday, January 29th. Tip-off is set for 5pm.
