For the first time since 1993 under head coach Evelyn Blalock, the Lady Rangers are Region 14 champions. They defeated Tyler Junior College, 67-58, to earn the crown.
Anyla Herbert led all Lady Rangers with 16 points. Other KC players in double figures were Madison Bob (12), Nakiyah Allen (12) and Jarahle Daniels (10).
Allen was named as the tournament's MVP.
