The women's basketball team hosted the Herkimer Generals on Thursday night. The Lady Raiders stunned the #12 nationally ranked Generals and came out with a 67-62 victory.

FMCC jumped out to a 30-27 lead at the half. In the second half, the Lady Raiders continued to play strong defense and battled basket for basket. With 24 seconds remaining in the game, Mianna Jackson stole a sideline inbounds pass and connected on the open floor lay-up to take the lead, 63-62. Quincy Lake sank two foul shots in the final second to secure the victory.

Mianna Jackson led with 24 points and 6 rebounds. Quincy Lake finished with 16 points and 10 rebounds.

FM is now 6-8 overall and 7-4 in region 3 play. They will host Cayuga and Finger Lakes over the weekend with action beginning at 1pm on both Saturday and Sunday.
