On Saturday October 26th, the Bristol Bayhawks Women's Volleyball team hosted a tri-match between Massbay Community College and Roxbury Community College. The Bayhawks won both of their matches, defeating Massbay 3-1 in the opening match and ending the season with a win over Roxbury 3-0. Bristol finishes the season with a 7-9 overall record, surpassing last season's 4-12 overall record.

 

Bristol will now be without the services of three key Sophomores, Megan Rose (E Taunton MA), Gray Dirschel (N Attleboro MA) and captain Madison Medieros (Dartmouth MA). However, the future looks bright will a strong group of freshmen led by captain Mesa Rock (Westport MA), Molly Joyce (Plymouth MA) and Kiera Hagen (Wrentham MA).

 

Director of Athletics, Brian Fernandes stated "We're excited about the development of our volleyball program in two short seasons.
