Men's basketball falls to LaGrange College JV 88-76

LaGrange, Ga. - The Emory Oxford men's basketball team was defeated on the road against LaGrange College JV 88-76.

LaGrange proved to be a tough opponent for the Eagles, as the Panthers controlled the game from the start. LaGrange led by one point at halftime. The Eagles did lead midway through the second half, but the Panthers came back quickly to regain the lead.

First-year Leo Etah scored a career-high 27 points, while also having 12 rebounds. First-year Ved Desai scored 21 points and just missed out on a double-double with nine rebounds. Also scoring double digit points for the Eagles were first-years Jason Kim and Tyler Pavlik with 11 each.

Emory Oxford is now 3-3. The Eagles face Camp Community College next at home on Saturday, Nov. 23. Game time is set for 1 p.m.
