The Central Community College men's basketball team recorded its 10th win of the season with a 73-66 win over Western Iowa Tech.
The first half was a very even affair, but CCC struggled to get the offense going and allowed too many easy baskets on the other end. This allowed WIT to stay in the game, trailing 32-29 at half. The Raiders maintained their lead throughout the second half with a quick-paced offensive attack. WIT countered with a perfect performance at the free throw line in the second half, going 10-10.
CCC's Frank Keller logged 20 points and eight-rebounds, both team-highs. Kazadi Mukoma Jr. also posted eight rebounds and had the team-high in assists with four.
The Raiders are 10-10 on the season and is back in action on Jan. 24 at Indian Hills Community College.
