The HUdson Valley men's basketball team was defeated by Herkimer on Tuesday night.
The Vikings fought hard the whole game but couldn't keep the lead and eventually lost it to the Generals.
The Vikings were led by James Blake with 18 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals. Julius Reed had 15 points, 5 rebounds, 5 steals, and 2 assists off the bench for the Vikings. Nazier Carter had 13 points and Brandon Gordon had 11 in Tuesday's game. The defense produced 18 steals but it wasn't enough in the end to keep the lead.
The Vikings return home on Thursday as they welcome North Country to McDonough. The men's game will kick off at 5pm, followed by the women's game at 7pm.
