COLBY, Kan. - Colby Community College's women's basketball program defeated Kansas Wesleyan JV 76-41 on Sunday, November 10th at the Colby Event Center. The Trojans steadily built on their lead and never looked back. With improved offensive execution and their always-present defensive effort, the Trojans proved to be too much for the Coyotes.
 
Looking to build and grow in their third game of the season, the Trojans were able to move the ball and find the open player for a balanced offensive attack inside and out.  Spreading the scoring around is always a plus and the Trojans wasted little time in flexing their muscles, to earn their second win of the season.  
 
"Much improved offensive flow and balance today which is what we hope to see each day and have it show up each game.  We will always look to establish our defensive energy, but we also have the ability to score the ball this year. I like to spread it around and be harder to guard and I believe this group can do just that.  Excited about our growth and sense of energy in our third game.   Back to work and more to come."  Added Coach Spence. 
 
The Trojans are back on the home floor Tuesday; November 12th at 6 pm CT, as they host McPherson College JV.
