Right out of the gate, the Cyclones took control of their matchup with Waubonsee Community College.

The first quarter saw the Cyclones charge ahead and hold the Chiefs to just four points. They continued to extend the lead in the second quarter to go up 34-17 by halftime. With two quarters scoring more than 20 points each, a slow fourth quarter didn't stop Moraine Valley from earning the 65-48 win.

Shakila Brownlow had a strong scoring game with 24 points. Jadea Johnson earned another double-double with 21 points and 11 rebounds.
