Pioneers Power Through St. Petersburg

FORT PIERCE, FL- Indian River secured a 90-74 victory over St. Petersburg, building on a solid 43-34 lead at the break. The Pioneers were firing on all cylinders, showcasing a well-balanced offense and high energy on both ends of the court. They were excellent from long range, knocking down several three-pointers, and demonstrated impressive ball movement to create open looks. Defensively, they were relentless, forcing turnovers and limiting St. Petersburg's second-chance opportunities. While St. Petersburg had moments of offensive success, Indian River controlled the game for most of the half and entered the second half looking to extend their lead with continued pressure.

The Pioneers dominated in the second half, cruising to a decisive victory. Their sharp shooting and quick transitions expanded their lead, with three-pointers remaining a major weapon. Their defense stifled any attempt at a St. Petersburg comeback. With contributions from across the roster, Indian River controlled the tempo and pace, ensuring that St. Petersburg never got close to narrowing the gap. It was an impressive all-around performance that capped off a dominant win.
