Brookdale Softball Opens Up Season With A Pair Of Wins Over Ocean
Lincroft, NJ - The Brookdale Community College softball team opened up their 2025 season with a pair of wins over the Ocean County College Vikings, 11-0, 19-2.

Lincroft, NJ - The Brookdale Community College softball team opened up their 2025 season with a pair of wins over the Ocean County College Vikings, 11-0, 19-2.
In game-one, the Jersey Blues were lead by sophomore shortstop, Jillian Fay, who batted 3-or-3 including a double for three RBI's. Sophomore first baseman, Audra Lowe, punched in two RBI's off of her two triples, and sophomore catcher, Jessica Fay, went 3-for-3 to bring home two RBI's. Freshman pitcher, Jules Hart, faced 19 batters, striking out five in her five victorious innings while batting 3-for-3 with an RBI on the opposite end.
The 19-2 win introduced freshman Jadeyn Pavlik to the circle for all five innings with two strikeouts, and Audra Lowe hit a bomb over the fence as well as a double for five RBI's. Freshman right fielder, Charlee Doherty batted 2-for-3 for two RBI's, Jessica Fay posted a double for two RBI's, and freshman center fielder, Jaylen Campbell, added two RBI's as well.
Brookdale (2-0) will host the Mercer County Community College Vikings (DII) next at home on Thursday, March 6th, beginning at 3:00pm.
