No. 6 Lakers Defeat Lumberjacks

ALPENA, Mich. – Addysen Gray and Delaney Seaman scored 23 points each, and the No. 6 Mid Michigan College women's basketball team (17-2, 5-0 MCCAA North) won their 13th straight game on Saturday afternoon at Alpena, defeating the Lumberjacks 122-39. 

Gray was 8-of-14 from the field and 6-of-10 from three point range, just missing her career high of 24 points set last year against North Central Michigan. Seaman was 9-of-18 from the field and 5-of-14 from deep. She has scored 20+ points in three of the last four games. 

Rachel Resio had 17 points, nine assists, and six steals. Paige Ebels added 13 points and seven assists, while Chloe Watson had 10 points. 

Makayla Watkins chipped in eight points while also grabbing a game high 11 rebounds. 

Mid hosts Muskegon on Wednesday at 5:30 PM inside Morey Courts.
