Cavaliers Take 2 of 3 From Stars

In a thrilling weekend series, Bossier Parish baseball team took 2 out of 3 games from South Arkansas, showcasing a blend of powerful hitting and dominant pitching.

In Game 1, the Cavs set the tone with a commanding 10-0 victory. Cam Williams was stellar on the mound, throwing 4 shutout innings and securing the win. Jake Guidry was called on out of the pen and threw 2 innings of shut out baseball. The pitching staff combined to give up only one hit.

Game 2 saw South Arkansas bounce back, but not without a fight from Bossier Parish. Blanchard struck out 6 through his 3 innings of work. Stringfellow led the charge offensively, going 6 for 9 over the weekend with a double, a home run, and 3 RBIs. Biddick contributed significantly as well, tallying 5 hits, including 3 doubles, and driving in 3 runs. Despite these efforts, South Arkansas managed to edge out a win in game 2.

The decisive Game 3 was a showcase of resilience and skill. Levy had a standout performance with 3 hits, including a triple and a home run, in the Sunday win. Andy Roman was a defensive powerhouse, throwing out 3 runners and adding 2 hits. On the mound, McKinnon struck out 8 over 5 innings, and Jaden Bahl pitched 4 innings in relief, collecting 4 strikeouts to secure the victory.

Bossier Parish's combination of strong pitching and timely hitting proved too much for South Arkansas, highlighting their potential for a successful season ahead.
