Game 1

Catonsville and Hagerstown were tied 1-1 going into the 3rd inning, where the Cardinals scored 7 runs to take a commanding 8-1 lead heading into the 4th. The Cardinals then put up 2 more runs in the 4th to make the game 10-1. The run rule then took effect ending the game early 10-1. Alana Watts and Emily Fagan lead the charge for the Cardinals. Game 2

The second game of the doubleheader was similar to game one. The Cardinals took a 2-0 lead after the first inning. It stayed that way until an 8 run 3rd inning from the Cardinals to extend the lead to 10-0. Hagerstown responded with 2 runs but it was not enough to stop another run rule from coming into effect as the Cardinals won 11-2. Rachel Cox and Alana Watts powered the Cardinals offense. Cox went 2-3 with 2 RBIs, while Watts went 3-3 with 3 RBIs.

Cardinals Carrying Momentum

The Cardinals take both games of the doubleheader in dominating fashion and are 3-1 in their last 4 games. They look to carry this momentum into their upcoming games against Penn State Mont Alto. The Cardinals currently sit at 8-11 on the season and 4-1 in conference play.
