These Cyclones don't quit

It was a slow start for the Cyclones, but they did not quit and were able to bounce back for a big 98-89 victory over McHenry County College.

The Cyclone offense was off their game at the start, scoring just 13 points and going down by 18 points, but got going in the second quarter with a 32-point surge. Although they were still down at halftime, they held the Scots to just 14 points in the fourth quarter while scoring 31 to solidify the lead.

Five Cyclones scored double digits: Shakila Brownlow (27 points, nine rebounds, five steals), Jadea Johnson (19 points, 10 rebounds), Deniza Fuentes (12 points), Robin Stevenson (11 points, 10 rebounds) and Lily Hernandez (11 points, seven assists).
