Bryant & Stratton defeat Lansing for first-ever win in NJCAA DII College World Series
Bobcats defeat Stars for first win at NJCAA DII College World Series
OXFORD, Ala. — Bryant & Stratton softball bested Lansing Community College 6-1 on Monday for its first win at the NJCAA DII College Softball World Series.
The Stars got on the board first with a one run single.
The Bobcats answered back in the top of the third when an Olivia Fietz single brought in two runs. Jenna Beaudin also doubled, scoring one run.
Sophia Santiago drove in two more runs with an RBI-double and Kayla Roidt drove her in with a single.
Holly Lowenberg stepped in the circle for the Bobcats. She gave up eight hits and one run over seven innings, striking out six.
