
The Twins dropped their season opener to Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences on Sunday night 72-53.
In the first half the Panthers came out hot, they started with the 3FG's early and would end up putting the Twins in a deep hole. The halftime score was 20-43 in favor of the Panthers. In the second half, the Twins began to find their groove. Sophomore Jacob Mance (Red Hook, NY) would pour in 12 points from the three point line and increased intensity on the offensive glass lead to more second chance attempts, along with a boost in free throw attempts. Unfortunately this wasn't enough and the Twins would lose 53-72.
For the Twins Jacob Mance (Red Hook, NY) would end with 15 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals. Freshman guard Christian Moses (Durham, NC) total for 12 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 assists.
The Twins are back on the road Wednesday evening against Fulton-Montgomery Community College. Tip off is at 6pm.
