Blue Devils Lose in Tight Battle Against No.7 Cowley

The Kansas City Kansas Community College men's soccer team fell to the Cowley College Tigers, 1-2 Oct. 23 in Arkansas City, Kan. Pierre-Jean Dannenmuller recorded four saves but was unable to stop two second half goals from the Tigers.

Christian Cenoble scored the first goal of the game in the 12th minute with an absolute rocket from outside the Tiger box. Cenoble took on two Cowley defenders and was able to sneak a shot to the bottom right corner past the goalkeeper. That is his third goal on the season. The Tigers would answer with two goals of their own in the second half coming in the 54th and 61st minutes. The Blue Devils weren't able to respond to the seventh ranked team and fell 2-1.

The final regular season game for the Blue Devils men's soccer team is at 3 p.m. Oct. 26 against Garden City at the KCKCC soccer field.
